Atrangi is the first level of workshop. It covers the basics of theatre and ends with a presentation where participants are part of a skit.
What is the medium of instruction used in workshops?
We use Hindi and English.
What is the language used in shows?
Manorang hosts shows in Hindi, Marathi, and English.
What is the location of the workshop and rehearsals?
Our workshops and rehearsals are held in the Rehearsal Hall at Dr. Kashinath Ghanekar Natyagruha, Thane.
What is the age group of participants?
Workshop is conducted in batches based on age groups. For adults batch, mininum age is 16, maximum is 100 , For kids batch, age group is 8-15 years.
What is the batch size ?
Batch size is typically between 20 and 25.
What is the duration of the Atrangi workshop?
The workshop curriculum is spread over twelve weeks (three months)
What day is the workshop held?
It's held every Sunday.
What are the timings of workshop?
1-3 PM (extended timing towards the end of workshop for rehearsals)
What if you miss any session of the workshop?
We do a revision session after first few weeks, so you might miss a class but not the content.
Who conducts the Atrangi workshop?
All the sessions are taken by our founder and director, Sandeep More along with seniors from Manorang theatre group.
What can I expect after completing of atrangi workshop?
After completion of atrangi the participants get qualified for the next level – Navrangi, get a participation certificate and get involved in a theatre presentation.
How much is the fees for atrangi workshop?
Fees gets finalized and shared before start of each batch.
How do I pay the fees?
We will share an invoice with links for digital payment.
Can I get refund of fees if I am not able to continue the workshop?
Fees once paid will not be refunded.
I have financial challenges, can I get concession in fees ?
We do consider genuine participants with financial challenges on a case-by-case basis.
Can I get a brief about the workshop curriculum?
Atrangi workshop curriculum is divided into two parts , first six sessions of intensive workshop & learning and next six sessions of application of the learning to create a presentation.
Is camera acting taught in atrangi workshop?
Atrangi is purely a theatre workshop, however we do cover camera acting in Natrangi level.

Annually we do two rounds of Atrangi workshop , tentatively Jan-Mar and Sep-Nov.

One starts with the beginner's theatre workshop - Atrangi, then moves to the intermediate workshop- Navrangi and then finally the collaborate theatre workshop - Natrangi to become a permanent member of the theatre group.
